The Seiko SPB295J1 relo has its dark green Urushi lacquer dial, the color typical of the musco gardens that in summer are harvested in Kanazawa and the Hokuriku region. Artist Isshu Tamura uses exclusive Kanazawa Urushi lacquered techniques.  The dial finish innovatively combines metal with Urushi and traditional artisanal techniques that produce a smooth, solid and durable surface.  The Urushi's beautiful shine is thick enough not to interfere with the movement of the hands.

Mr. Tamura has executed his technique at Kaga Maki-e not only in lacquer, but also in the creation of luxurious fountain pens and wristwatches that have received worldwide recognition for their elaborate detail and fine beauty.

The SPB295J1 is equipped with a caliber 6R24. It hasthe hands of the date, the day of the week and the reserve of cargo that move like a Japanese fan.

The transparent caseback of the watch is marked with the words "Limited Edition" and the serial number.
