Seiko 5 Sports watch with 4R36 automatic movement, 41 hours charge reserve, 24 jewels, stainless steel case of 42.5 m/m diameter and 13.4 m/m thickness, black and red dial, black unidirectional rotating bezel in black aluminium and golden PVD indexes, day and date window at 3, silver indexes and hands with Lumibrite treatment, screw-down crown, screw-in caseback, water resistant 10 BAR (100 meters), hardlex crystal, black nylon strap.

In 2020 Seiko launched the Brian May tribute watch with great success. This year a new version appears for those who did not get the previous one, different enough that they also want to have it. The model SRPH80K1 is launched with the reissue of his solo albums, "Golden Series", that’s the reason for the gold color in this Limited Edition of 12,500 pieces.
The measurements of the Seiko 5 Brian May Special Edition SRPH80K1 are the same that the first version. The bezel is made of anodized fluted aluminum that better disguises possible scratches, and the numbers are engraved and with gold PVD filling, golden PVD like the bezel and handles. The dial reproduces as in the 1st version the Special Red of the Queen guitarist. The rear glass is tinted red and reproduces Brian May's signature, Limited Edition and serial number.
The strap is black with gold lines along it representing the strings of the guitar.
The SRPH80K1 watch comes in a special case that imitates the suitcases where the guitars are transported, and with the detail of a commemorative coin of 6 pence like the one Brian May uses as a pick.
Seiko Watch Corporation will donate a portion of the proceeds from SRPH80K1 sales to The Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Queen manager Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury, to help fund the fight against HIV/AIDS worldwide.
