The Seiko SPB397J1 watch has its ivory-colored dial. The SPB397 dial is inspired by the Izumiyama Ceramic Stone Field, in Arita porcelain, thanks to the master Hiroyuki Hashiguchi and his team who manufacture the dials from an elaborate process in several phases.
Arita ceramic has a fine texture but is four times harder than normal porcelain and has the required strength and flexibility.
