About Seiko Presage SSA411J1 watches:
Seiko Presage watches are a collection of Seiko watches. It has some unique features that make it one of the most demanded watches by our customers. These are:
Sapphire crystal with Super Clear coating: Seiko's exclusive anti-reflective coating, applied on both the face and the back of the glass, prevents 99% of the light reflection and ensures that the dial is highly readable, even with a bright light.
Spron: Used in all mechanical watches, for the real spring and the steering wheel spiral; Spron alloys are exclusive for Seiko watches. The Spron has a high elasticity, strength and resistance to corrosion and heat. The family of Spron alloys was originally developed in collaboration with the Laboratory of Metallic Materials of the University of Tohoku and, today, thanks to the high performance of its characteristics have led to its use in a wide range of fields, from electronics to Medicine.
Magic Lever: An invention of Seiko in 1959, the Magic Lever greatly increases the efficiency of winding the watch and shortens the time necessary for the actual spring to be fully wound. This ingenious V-shaped lever allows all the energy generated by the movement of the oscillating weight, either clockwise or counterclockwise, to be transferred to the real spring. It is effective, simple and enduring, and contributes significantly to the longevity of the watch. Magical lever systems have been adopted by the leading watch manufacturers around the world.
Diashock: Diashock is a device of resistance to the blows. When a watch is subject to shock, such as when falling on a hard surface, the component most prone to damage is the axis of rotation of the steering wheel. It is extremely thin, between 0.07 and 0.08 mm in diameter, like a human hair. The protection of this piece is crucial and the solution was to create the Diashock, a device that protects the steering wheel from shocks and vibrations. The ruby anchored in the axis of the steering wheel is fixed to a spiral and, when it is subjected to a strong shock, the elasticity of that spiral absorbs the impact.
