Meet the new ProPilot X 01 400 7778 7150-07 7 20 01TLC . The blue, green and purple finish is created by reflected light. It is inspired by the principles of biomimicry.
Oris creates and incorporates its Caliber 400, a new high-performance standard for automatic mechanical movements, with an Oris-patented Rotation Security System (RSS) that adjusts and locks the one-dimensional rotating bezel. Its power reserve is 5 days (120 hours), with a 10-year warranty.

Paul Cattin and Georges Christian founded Oris in the Swiss city of Hölstein (June 1, 1904).
The company opens an assembly plant and a second factory in the nearby town of Holderbank (1906).
The success of Oris allowed several factories to be opened in different cities, until 1929. After the death of Georges Christian, Oscar Herzog, his brother-in-law, became general director. Oris opens its own dial factory in Biel/Bienne, and there produces its own escapements for watches thanks to multiple watchmaking experts and giving equal opportunities to both men and women.
In 1938, Oris produced its first pilot's watch with a Pointer Calendar function, the Big Crown.
Since 1945, Oris has received more than 200 precision awards. It was in 1952 that Oris launched its first automatic watch with a power reserve indicator, the high-precision Oris Caliber 601.
