About Casio MRG-B2000JS-1AER G-Shock MRG Limited Edition watch:
The amazing G-SHOCK MRG-B2000JS-1AER is inspired by the art of Japanese katana sword forging and samurai warriors.
It features the Shougeki-Maru: San, the katana specially commissioned by Casio for the MR-G line. The term “San” means brilliant in Japanese.
The bezel is crafted from a recrystallized hybrid titanium, evoking the distinctive pattern of a blade forged by master swordsmith Kamiyama Teruhira. This pattern is achieved by layers of pure titanium and Ti64, which are cut, polished and subjected to a deep layer hardening process, capturing the unique characteristics of artisanal forging.
Each watch is unique. Subtle differences in materials and manufacturing process, along with the hand-inscription of the character 燦 (San) on the caseback by master Kamiyama, ensure that no two watches are alike.
Following recrystallization and hardening, a blue-grey AIP® coating is applied to the pure titanium central case, evoking the deep blue of the Juryoku-Maru sword: San.
The watch band, decorated using the traditional aogai-nuri technique by master craftsman Nomura Mamoru, features mother-of-pearl inlays. This very special design is combined with the DAT55G titanium alloy band, three times harder than pure titanium, offering exceptional scratch resistance, maintaining its flawless mirror finish for years.
The MRG-B2000JS-1AER combines ancient traditions with advanced modern functionality. Equipped with Bluetooth®, it synchronizes automatically.
