The Seiko SRE015 is a new collaboration with STAR BAR, from the Presage Cocktail Time collection inspired by the beautiful nightscape of Tokyo and an original cocktail created by STAR BAR owner Hisashi Kishi, the first bartender to receive Japan's prestigious "Contemporary Master Craftsman" award. This is reflected in its gradient grey dial that is slightly lighter towards the centre, contrasting with the gold hands and indexes. The SRE015J1 is a Limited Edition and the serial number.

The small-sized reference SRE015 features a new box-shaped crystal designed for this model. The inner surface is multi-faceted, recalling the sparkle of Tokyo's skyscrapers, creating an elegant and glamorous finish.

Follow your dreams and keep moving forward is the philosophy of Seiko founder Kintaro Hattori.
Fascinated by Swiss watchmaking, Kintaro dreams of becoming a great high-level watchmaker and at just 18 years old he opens a watch repair shop in his own home in Kyobashi (Ginza district). Four years later he founds the K Hattori company for repairs and sale of second-hand watches. In 1892, he creates the Seikosha company (“house of precision”) making his own wall clocks and creates the first pocket watch, called “Time Keeper” in 1895 or the first Japanese-made alarm clock. In 1913 he creates the first wristwatch called “Laurel”. His dream of being a real watchmaker becomes a reality. But the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 destroyed everything. Time does not stop, it moves forward. Hattori starts all over again, a year later he is making his wristwatch again, this time under the Seiko brand. He rebuilt the clock tower in Ginza in 1932, symbolizing the rebirth of Seiko and the city of Tokyo itself.
