About the SRPH31K1 Seiko 5 Sports & Yuto Horigome Limited Edition watch:
Seiko in collaboration with Yuto Horigome, International Skateboarding Champion, presents the SRPH31K1, a limited edition model. The exclusive design features the Horigome family crest logo.
The depth of the dial is expressed by the combination of a gradient and a delicate relief pattern. An original logo based on the Horigome family crest, with “falcon feathers”, appears at the 6 o’clock position, on the crystal case back and on the special case.
The crocodile pattern strap.
About Seiko:
Follow your dreams and keep moving forward is the philosophy of Seiko founder Kintaro Hattori.
Fascinated by Swiss watchmaking, Kintaro dreams of becoming a great high-level watchmaker and at just 18 years old he opens a watch repair shop in his own home in Kyobashi (Ginza district). Four years later he founds the K Hattori company for repairs and sale of second-hand watches. In 1892, he creates the Seikosha company (“house of precision”) making his own wall clocks and creates the first pocket watch, called “Time Keeper” in 1895 or the first Japanese-made alarm clock. In 1913 he creates the first wristwatch called “Laurel”. His dream of being a real watchmaker becomes a reality. But the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 destroyed everything. Time does not stop, it moves forward. Hattori starts all over again, a year later he is making his wristwatch again, this time under the Seiko brand. He rebuilt the clock tower in Ginza in 1932, symbolizing the rebirth of Seiko and the city of Tokyo itself.
Moving forward, step by step: Since its creation, Seiko has been advancing, evolving in technology and science applied to watchmaking with its collections: Astron, Prospex, Presage, 5 Sports, Premier. “It is always one step ahead of the rest”
