Casio presents the evolution of the first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, which debuted in 1983 with the new version of the GW-5000HS-7ER. Functional advancements in radio-controlled solar timekeeping now come in new monochrome options with the most iconic design details of the original G-SHOCK, from the solid sophistication of the metal case to the screw-down case back and dial design, all retain their signature style.

True to the first G-SHOCK, these watches are even tougher. The metal case and screw-down case back feature a diamond-like carbon coating for increased abrasion resistance. The screw-down case back has a mirror finish that highlights its quality.

Metal case with diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating on pure titanium to provide increased abrasion resistance, while fine circular finishing enhances its texture.

Design of the first G-SHOCK, including the iconic brick pattern - a symbol of resistance - the "SHOCK RESIST" logo and the mode and function indicators.
