Casio celebrates 50 years of Casio watches with the Casiotron model.
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Casio watches with the limited edition TRN-50-2AER of the new Casiotron, a recreation of the first Casio wristwatch.
Launched in 1974, the Casiotron was the world's first digital watch with an automatic calendar that automatically adjusted to longer and shorter months. The new TRN-50 pays homage to the revolutionary original model, integrating today's cutting-edge technology. Meticulously reproducing the original design in both appearance and size, the external diameter is essentially the same at 39.1 mm, and the profile is 0.3 mm narrower. You'll find details inspired by the original, such as the textured case and strap design, dark blue dial, Casiotron logo, and many other details.
The case back features the same symbol as the original, slightly updated to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Casio watches. Each limited edition watch is accompanied by an engraved serial number (0001/4000 – 4000/4000), to highlight just how rare these special watches are.
